- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
Preparation Steps:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it's foamy.2. Add the remaining sugar, flour, salt, eggs, and butter to the yeast mixture. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10-15 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
5. Punch down the dough, divide it into small portions, and shape them into rolls. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Cover the rolls and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
8. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until they turn golden brown.
9. Brush the rolls with butter once they're out of the oven.
